EU BD Manager
My client, based in the Midlands, is seeking an experienced BD Manager who can win new business on a European scale. An attractive salary and package is on offer.

Responsibilities



  • Establish a business plan and marketing strategy for the organisation

  • Identify and develop new opportunities for business

  • Work with senior management to develop and drive new and existing business

  • Accurate forecasting of new business

  • Manage sales function

  • Submit weekly reports of activities to Senior Management.

  • Provide regular market intelligence, developments and opportunities reports to business leaders

  • Build and develop relationships with key customers

  • Manage key accounts

  • Manage co-ordinate and prepare proposals for new business

  • Ability to engage with the right personal within the chosen industry/organisation

  • Must have a extensive portfolio of companies/contacts in the said industries



Requirements



  • 3rd Level Degree in Life Science preferably pharmacy, PhD, Msc

  • Proven track record in Pharma/Biopharma/Drug Delivery/Technology industry

  • 5+ years proven track record in Pharmaceutical Business Development (Ideally European Experience)

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Strong technical background,experiences & comfortable selling/promoting complex Drug Delivery Technologies/Systems/Formulations.

  • Ability to negotiate licensing agreements for specific IP and/or Products.

  • Strong understanding and experience of sales/technology costing process
